A woman doesn't have to be a biological mother to actually have motherly feelings. I am getting reminded of the
movie “Stepmom”(Starring Julia Roberts and Susan Sarandon). In the movie, Julia Roberts plays stepmom to Susan Sarandon's kids. Both the mothers clash repeatedly. While the
new age mom, Julia Roberts is more
relaxed with the kids, the older one(Sarandon) is quite strict in her disciplining the kids. Sarnadon is diagnosed with malignant cancer, and gradually both
bond with each other one fine day. While Julia Roberts compliments her maternal instincts, Sarandon compliments her hipness which helps her to
connect better with the kids. I remember the movie's tagline being ”Be there for the joy. Be there for the tears.
Be there for each other”. The movie would compel anyone to give a thought to motherhood and
different approaches to motherhood. It depicts how two mothers of the same kids(one biological and the other a stepmom) graduate from rivalry to unity. Together they could
provide the best care to their kids.Heres wishing all mothers(be it stepmoms, biological moms, surrogate or any other special moms) a Very
